Conab reports soybean harvest at 88% in Brazil, with rain delaying progress in Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, and Mato Grosso do Sul

In Brazil, Noticias Agricolas reported that activities in soybean fields continue to advance across Brazil. According to crop monitoring data from Conab, as of April 18, 88.1% of the 2025/26 crop areas have already been harvested. The index rose from 85.7% recorded the previous week, falling behind 92.7% for the same period in 2025 and the 88.7% average of the last five years.          

So far, Mato Grosso and São Paulo have already finished harvesting, which continues to advance in Mato Grosso do Sul and Goiás (99%), Paraná (98%), Minas Gerais (96%), Tocantins (95%), Piauí (89%), Bahia (78%), Santa Catarina (63%), Maranhão (58%) and Rio Grande do Sul (51%). Of the areas still in the field, 9.2% are maturing and 2.5% are in the grain-filling stage, according to the report.

The harvest is already in its final stages in Goiás, Minas Gerais, and Tocantins, while it continues to progress in Bahia, it added.
