Company seeks to build ethanol plant in Idaho but is meeting local resistance

In Idaho, Demeter Bio-Resources Montana is seeking permission to build an ethanol plant in Canyon County, east of Greenleaf. A public hearing is being held on Thursday regarding the plant, which has already drawn criticism from neighbors for everything from increased truck traffic to noise and air pollution.
