Company fined $70 million for importing US biodiesel via Canada to Romania

In Romania, KazMunayGas Trading will have to pay $70 million Romanian tax administration agency ANAF for US biodiesel imports that were shipped via Canada following a lawsuit initiated by Austrian oil company OMV. The case started as a result of an investigation by the EU’s fraud office OLAF.
