Companies waiting for word on DOD advanced biofuel funding

In Washington, Gevo, Syntroleum, Cobalt Technologies, Sustainable Oils and Solazyme are among the companies waiting to find out who will be included in lucrative biofuel programs under the Dept. of Defense’s new Advanced Drop-In Biofuel Production Project. Winning companies will get about $6 million in March and then up to three companies share about $180 million.
