Canada, Netherlands to collaborate on biofuels tech development
In Canada, to accelerate the international commercialization of biofuels technologies, Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC) has agreed to work closely with Biobased Delta Foundation, based in the Southern Netherlands. A formal Memorandum of Understanding between the two foundations calls for collaboration on pyrolysis, chemicals from sugars, and lignin-based materials. It was signed at the BIO World Congress on May 14, 2014 and holds for three years.
