Brazilian ethanol prices dip slightly but holding steady despite the crush
In Brazil, both hydrous and anhydrous ethanol prices fell last week but the losses were fairly limited, at just 1.99% and 0.93% respectively. Despite the sugarcane crush typically starting in April, mills began early in mid-March in order to try to crush the bumper crop this year, a move which helped to push down prices earlier in the year than normal. Having wiped off much of the premium from earlier market tightness, prices are starting to stabilize.
