June 19, 2026 |

In Canada, Braya Renewable Fuels said it has completed its first sale of renewable diesel for the Canadian market.

The sale of 100,000 barrels of renewable diesel to a Canadian customer for the Canadian market, with the possibility of additional deliveries in the future, marks a positive expansion in Braya’s customer base, and further signals the growth of the Canadian renewable energy market, according to the firm.

“The expansion of our customer base into the Canadian energy market is the realization of a goal that we set out to achieve when we began our commercial operations two years ago, said Todd O’Malley, Chief Executive Officer at Braya. “Canadian industry sees the long-term value, and necessity, of transitioning to a low-carbon economy, and Braya is proud to be a reliable producer for Canada’s most critical industries as they transition to a greener future. We strongly encourage the Canadian government to continue to strengthen policies allowing Braya to participate in the Canadian fuel market.”
