Bosnia and Herzegovina starts working on national hydrogen strategy
In Serbia, Balkan Green Energy News reported that Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched a two-year project to develop a draft national strategy and roadmap for hydrogen.
The implementation of the project CEI Support to Hydrogen Strategy Development and Know-How Transfer for Bosnia and Herzegovina began with an official meeting in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to the report.
The project is being jointly implemented by Green Sustainable Solutions, based in Croatia’s capital Zagreb, the Association for Green Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Sources (H2OIE), state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine (EPBiH), and BiH-based company Energoinvest.
It is supported by the Central European Initiative (CEI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, the report added.
According to the Association for Green Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Sources (H2OIE), the project aims to strengthen institutional capacities and facilitate knowledge transfer for the sustainable introduction of hydrogen technologies into the national energy system.
