Biofuels Digest rallies to 73.56 as ethanol advances

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rallied 1.43 percent to 73.56 as ethanol equities advanced. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) rebounded 9.09 percent to $0.24, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 7.64 percent to $8.59. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) added 5.75 percent to $26.12. Overall, advances led declines 6 to 5 for the day.
