Biofuels Digest Index to 65.61 as advanced biofuels rally

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 1.59 percent to 65.61 as advanced biofuels rallied. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) jumped 10.37 percent to $1.81, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 13.60 percent to $3.76. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) shed 5.26 percent to $1.62. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
