Biofuels Digest Index soars to 70.90 as advanced biofuels rock

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, soared 2.15 percent to 70.90 as advanced biofuels rocked. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) rocketed up 10.68 percent to $7.67, while DPacific Ethanol (PEIX) surged 11.06 percent to $14.11. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) was up 4.23 percent to $21.20. Overall, advances led declines 15 to 1 for the day.
