Biofuels Digest Index soars to 69.06 as ethanol equities rock

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, soared 2.58 percent to 69.06 as ethanol equities rocked. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 7.99 percent to $12.16, while Dyadic (DYAI) soared 8.05 to $1.61. Among other equities, Green Plains (GPRE) surged 4.21 percent to $32.21. Overall, advances led declines 4 to 1 for the day.
