Biofuels Digest Index slumps to 73.82 as advanced biofuels tank

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slumped 1.24 percent to 73.82 as advanced biofuels tanked. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) dropped 8.31 percent to $0.44, while Amyris (AMRS) lost 5.26 percent to $3.06. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) was up 4.71 percent to $3.56 Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
