Biofuels Digest Index slips to 81.47 despite enzymes surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slipped 0.21 percent to 81.47 despite an enzymes surge. For the day, Codexis (CDXS) soared 43.97 percent to $2.03 after a signature deal with GSK, while Aemetis (AMTX) rocketed up 7.24 percent to $10.51. Among other equities, Metabolix (MBLX) tumbled 12.29 percent to $0.70. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
