Biofuels Digest Index slips to 80.75 as ethanol equities drop

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slipped 0.48 percent to 80.75 as ethanol equities dropped. For the day, Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) jumped 10.53 percent to $0.10, while Valero (VLO) plunged 8.29 percent to $46.22. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 4.22 percent to $3.86. Overall, declines led advances 6 to 5 for the day.
