Biofuels Digest Index slips to 78.27 as chemicals fall

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slipped 0.18 percent to 78.27 as chemicals fell. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) dumped 14.00 percent to $0.43, while BioAmber (BIOA) lost 4.91 percent to $11.04. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) slid 6.44 percent to $0.47. Overall, declines led advances 8 to 7 for the day.
