Biofuels Digest Index slips to 73.24 as chemical equities tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slipped 0.13 percent to 73.24 as chemical equities tumbled. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) fell 6.98 percent to $0.40, while Gevo (GEVO) soared 9.24 percent to $2.01. Among other equities, Metabolix (MBLX) lost 7.10 percent to $1.57. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
