Biofuels Digest Index slips to 72.53 as ethanol stumbles

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slipped 0.32 percent to 72.53 as ethanol equities stumbled. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 2.91 percent to $10.66, while Amyris (AMRS) soared 11.43 percent to $3.12 after reiterating 2014 guidance.  Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) fell 6.25 percent to $0.90. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
