Biofuels Digest Index slips to 70.49 as advanced biofuels retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, edged down 0.59 percent to 70.49 as advanced biofuels retreated. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) gained 0.91 percent to $7.74, while Gevo (GEVO) lost 7.80 percent to $0.33. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) was up 3.92 percent to $22.03. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 3 for the day.
