Biofuels Digest Index slips to 59.87 as advanced biofuels slump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slipped 0.78 percent to 59.87 as advanced biofuels slumped. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) plummeted 47.19 percent to $0.13 following pricing of a dilutive cap raise, while Cosan (CZZ) tumbled 5.13 percent to $7.03. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) advanced 3.32 percent to $2.18. Overall, advances led declines 4 to 3 for the day.
