Biofuels Digest Index sinks to 69.38 as advanced biofuels sag

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, sank 1.56 percent to 69.38 as advanced biofuels sagged. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) lost 5.17 percent to $7.34, while Ceres (CERE) plunged 11.72 percent to $0.30. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) dumped 6.46 percent to $9.84. Overall, declines led advances 8 to 3 for the day.
