Biofuels Digest Index rises to 77.77 as ethanol gains

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was up 1.25 percent to 77.77 as ethanol equities jumped. For the day, KiOR rebounded 6.88 percent to $0.41, while Aemetis (AMTX) jumped 7.14 percent to $0.60. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) rocketed up 10.64 percent to $15.81. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
