Biofuels Digest Index rises to 68.78 as advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.23 percent to 68.78 as advanced biofuels surged. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) rocketed up 46.07 percent to $2.92 one day after a 1-15 reverse split, while Ceres (CERE) slumped 6.67 percent to $1.76. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS)( rallied 4.34 percent to $4.76. Overall, advances led declines by a 8 to 7 ratio for the day.
