Biofuels Digest Index rises to 68.51 as advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.68 percent to 68.51 as advanced biofuels surged. For the day, Sacom (SAM.MI) jumped 4.51 percent to $8.57 , while KiOR (KIOR) recovered 9.54 percent to $2.64. Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) fell 3.23 percent to $0.30. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
