Biofuels Digest Index regains to 81.12 as ethanol equities rebound

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, regained 0.76 percent to 81.12 as ethanol equities rebounded.  For the day, BioAmber (BIOA) soared 11.67 percent to $13.40 on its big Vinmar deal news, while Sacom (SAM.MI) shed 5.17 percent to $3.34. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) jumped 5.09 percent to $35.30.  Overall, declines led advances 6 to 5 for the day.
