The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, recovered 0.50 percent to 69.73 despite an advanced biofuels tumble. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) fell 2.19 percent to $10.70 as the unwind of the Solazyme Roquette joint venture weighed on investor sentiment, while Ceres (CERE) jumped 7.09 percent to $2.72. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) surged 5.61 percent to $2.26. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
