Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 81.34 as ethanol rallies

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rallied 1.33 percent to 81.34 as ethanol equities climbed. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) rose 5.05 percent to $4.80, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) gained 9.88 percent to $15.02 . Among other equities, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) rebounded 16.49 percent to $3.39. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
