Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 79.74 as ethanol equities rally

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rebounded 0.86 percent to 79.74 as ethanol equities rallied. For the day, BASF (BAS.F) gained 2.13 percent to $76.60 while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 3.99 percent to $13.81. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) dumped 7.97 percent to $0.92. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
