Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 72.95 as chemicals advance

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rebounded 1.50 percent to 72.95 as chemicals advanced. For the day, BioAmber (BIOA) jumped 8.22 percent to $10.40, while Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) gained 4.91 percent to $27.13. Among other equities, OriginOil (OOIL) dumped 6.85 percent to $0.17. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
