Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 65.98 as chemicals rally

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rebounded 0.95 percent to 65.98 as chemicals rallied. For the day, Ceres (CERE) soared 30.43 percent to $0.45, while Metabolix (MBLX) rocketed up 56.72 percent to $1.05. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) slid 7.12 percent to $2.48. Overall, declines led advances by a 9 to 7 ratio for the day.
