Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 65.62 as ethanol equities jump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rebounded 1.42 percent to 65.62 as ethanol equities jumped. For the day, Green Plains (GPRE) jumped 4.40 percent to $28,53, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) recovered 6.34 percent to $12.75. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) soared 10.11 percent to $10.46. Overall, advances led declines 6 to 5 for the day.
