Biofuels Digest Index reaches 81.08 as chemicals jump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.50 percent to 81.08 as chemicals jumped. For the day, Biox (BX.T) rallied 9.09 percent to $0.48, while Evogene (EVGN) fell back 6.92 percent to $13.05. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) was up 4.04 percent to $27.26. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
