Biofuels Digest Index rallies to 81.64 as advanced biofuels jump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rallied 1.30 percent to 81.64 as advanced biofuels jumped. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared 8.29 percent to $16.98, while KiOR (KIOR) rebounded 7.09 percent to $0.36. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) was up 4.16 percent to $4.01. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 3 for the day.
