Biofuels Digest Index rallies to 73.81 as advanced biofuels gain

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, regained 1.76 percent to 73.81 as advanced biofuels rocked. For the day, Ceres (CERE) jumped 16.41 percent to $0.60, while Amyris (AMRS) rallied 10.00 percent to $3.08.  Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) gained 4.10 percent to $11.43. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
