Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 82.46 as chemicals rally

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.09 percent to 82.46 as chemicals rallied. For the day, Dyadic (DYAI) soared 10.34 percent to $1.60, while BioAmber (BIOA) rocketed up 10.78 percent to $10.69. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) fell 3.42 percent to $1.41. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
