Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 74.40 as advanced biofuels soar

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 2.41 percent to 74.40 as advanced biofuels soared. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) rocketed up 11.59 percent to $3.37, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) gained 11.06 percent to $11.45. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) bounced strongly, up 19.51 percent to $0.52 . Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
