Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 70.23 as advanced biofuels rally

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.95 percent to 70.23 as advanced biofuels surged again. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) upticked 5.06 percent to $4.15, while Amyris (AMRS) rallied 4.84 percent to $2.60. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) surged 8.25 percent to $5.64. Overall, advances led declines by a 5 to 2 ratio for the day.
