Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 68.20 as advanced biofuels rock

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.32 percent to 68.20 as advanced biofuels rocked.  For the day, KiOR (KIOR) soared 57.92 percent to $2.89 on news of a financing package, while Solazyme (SZYM) settled back 3.39 percent to $11.12. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) jumped 14.52 percent to $1.42. Overall, advances led declines 4 to 3 for the day.
