Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 68.17 as Gevo, Ceres soar

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.41 percent to 68.17 as advanced biofuels soared. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) rocketed up 122.04 percent to $5.44, while Amyris (AMRS) shed 6.30 percent to $2.23. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) rallied 59.01 percent to $2.73. Overall, declines led advances by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
