Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 63.80 as advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 3.35 percent to 63.80 as advanced biofuels rocked. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) was up 43.21 percent to $0.23, while Amyris (AMRS) soared 20.11 percent to $2.09. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) advanced 6.23 percent to $15.52. Overall, advances led declines 13 to 2 for the day.
