Biofuels Digest Index gains to 75.80 as ethanol jumps

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.92 percent to 75.80 as ethanol equities recovered.  For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) was up 7.19 percent to $10.44, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) dumped 8.50 percent to $10.01 on news of a dilutive debt issue. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) fell 6.32 percent to $0.62 Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
