Biofuels Digest Index gains to 72.96 as enzymes soar

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.72 percent to 72.96 as enzymes surged. For the day, Codexis (CDXS) soared 26.63 percent to $1.86, while Ceres (CERE) jumped 6.16 percent to $1.55. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) dropped 7.45 percent to $4.72. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
