Biofuels Digest Index gains to 67.85 as chemicals rally

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.61 percent to 67.85 as chemicals rallied. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) was up 8.33 percent to $4.16, while BASF (BAS.F) soared 5.16 percent to $86.20. Among other equities, Total (TOT) climbed 3.73 percent to $51.75. Overall, advances led declines by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
