Biofuels Digest Index gains to 66.36 as ethanol equities advance

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 1.25 percent to 66.36 as ethanol equities advanced. For the day, Green Plains (GPRE) soared percent to $14.97, while Gevo (GEVO) rocketed up 12.68 percent to $0.28. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) retreated 15.62 percent to $0.33. Overall, advances led declines by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
