Biofuels Digest Index flat at 80.94 despite advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was flat at 80.94 despite an advanced biofuels surge. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) soared 16.74 percent to $0.72, while Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 5.93 percent to $10.36. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) rocketed up 11.34 percent to $2.16. Overall, declines led advances 10 to 7 for the day.
