Biofuels Digest Index flat at 78.98 as enzymes slump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was flat at 78.98 as enzymes slumped. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) jumped 8.99 percent to $7.88, while Metabolix (MBLX) was up 3.81 percent to $1.09. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) rebounded 2.99 percent to $10.68. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 7 for the day.
