Biofuels Digest Index flat at 74.60 despite ethanol drop

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was flat at 74.60 as ethanol equities ebbed. For the day, Sacom (SAM.MI) jumped 6.50 percent to $10.65, while Amyris (AMRS) fell 4.21 percent to $2.96. Among other equities, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) dumped 16.00 percent to $21.00. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
