Biofuels Digest Index falls to 81.00 as renewable chemicals tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 1.29 percent to 81.00 as renewable chemicals tumbled. For the day, Biox (BX.T) nose-dived 18.75 percent to $0.39, while Aemetis (AMTX) surged 8.47 percent to $0.64. Among other equities, Metabolix (MBLX) fell 4.70 percent to $1.42. Overall, declines led advances 6 to 5 for the day.
