Biofuels Digest Index falls to 79.06 as advanced biofuels tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 1.25 percent to 79.06 as advanced biofuels tumbled. For the day, BASF (BAS.F) dropped 4.09 percent to $75.00, while Solazyme (SZYM) lost 4.69 percent to $14.01. Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) plummeted 9.09 percent to $1.13 after announcing an earning release delay. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
