Biofuels Digest Index falls to 69.74 as ethanol equities sag

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 1.36 percent to 69.74 as ethanol equities sagged. For the day, BioFuel Energy (BIOF) plummeted 13.53 percent to $3.45, while KiOR (KiOR) plunged anew, losing 5.19 percent to $2.74. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) backslid 5.56 percent to $1.53. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 3 for the day.
